AI is rapidly moving from experimentation and individual use cases to becoming a broader strategic consideration for technology and business leaders. For CIOs, the challenge is increasingly about more than identifying what AI can do — it is about understanding where it can create meaningful business value, how it should be integrated into the technology landscape, and what capabilities and ways of working are needed to scale its use across the organization. As AI continues to develop, organizations are exploring opportunities across everything from productivity and automation to customer experiences, decision-making and core business processes. At the same time, turning these opportunities into sustainable impact requires a combination of technology, data, architecture, governance, skills and organizational change. The question is therefore shifting from “What can we do with AI?” to “How do we build an organization that can continuously turn AI opportunities into business value?” In this session, we will explore AI from both a group-wide and operational perspective, drawing on the experiences of Peter and Catrine from ICA. We will be going into a deep-dive through a presentation and a moderated group discussion. The conversation will explore how AI is influencing technology strategy, where organizations are seeing the greatest opportunities, and what it takes to move from individual initiatives towards a more scalable and integrated approach to AI.
